I recently acquired a Winchester model 94AE .44 MAG lever action rifle from a buddy of mine. The gun came in pieces and I've been able to find out it needs a few parts, and I just don't know how to install them correctly.. I live in the East Bay, CA. Any ideas?

I hope this helps, are you using hallow ground screw drivers? They are the difference between good grip and torque and loused up screw slots.I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. -
Wow. That seems to be exactly what i need to help me put this thing back together properly. I was having trouble with the blown up version. Thanks a million!Comment

I like this guy's writing style. Almost as if he is talking directly to you. Sometimes the video's move to quick or noise gets in the way of critical points and you have to keep replaying it. His links are right on for parts.
I'm not a gunsmith but do a lot of my own repair or parts replacement.
Besides the hallow point screwdriver set, you need a small punch set, small file set to clean up edges and such, different size ball peen hammers, mallet with different hammer faces and some sort of vice.I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.Comment

I used Numrich and found the parts I needed. Just got them in and putting the gun together now. Hopefully the tools I have will suffice!Comment
