My first AR15 build

I received my new lower a couple days ago and had the opportunity to finish it out. My first time and I think it's beautiful. Now I know what people mean when they call it an addiction. I want 10 more just like it! There's nothing like building your own.
I'm sending it out to be anodized in a couple days and I'll post pictures as I go. Wish Calguns would let me post more than 5 pics
It was no where near as hard as some people say and it's worth more to me for all the obvious reasons.

Way to go! I did several this year. Who did you use for the anodize? I did a few 80% with home anodizing and had mixed results. The custom lower in my sig was the best, it is about 98% - a few blems will some if you turn it a certain way. The others I got the pore size either too large or too small and they didt take color very well so I just anodized and then painted. One thing to be aware of...the anodize process adds a few mils in thickness to the aluminum so some of you pins might be really tough...you may even have to drill out a little material to assemble.
