UZI Build Extractor question (see attachment)

    Hello,

I'm about to rivet an extractor for a new build. Does the extractor always butt right against the magazine? Also, should I heat treat the extractor tip?

    Thx!!

The extractor is in the bolt.
That is the ejector you are riveting in.

Does the mag have room to wiggle left/right if the ejector is NOT in place?
Does the mag still have room to wiggle after you put the ejector in place?

If the ejector removed the wiggle, I would move the hole over a little before you rivet it.
It's probably fine for the mag to set against the extractor like that.
I would heat treat the ejector before you rivet it into place.
