Threading bolt knobs san diego or sorrounding areas plz!!!

I recently got a savage model 10 fcp,I want to be able to. Hange the knob to a badger , I bought an after market bolt knob,but the material is to weak and thin compared to the stock one. I wantto mill downthe knob to threaded. Since I don't have a machine ineed a reliable gunsmith In San Diego , if anyone has any suggestions , advice , know how etc. Please help, I would really appreciate it.thanks stay safe.
