should I build my upper or buy complete?
Recommendations for components or complete upper by brand.
Have already assembled several lowers and have used RRA uppers

If you already have complete uppers, It shouldn't be hard to figure out what needs to be bought. As for costs, it's tool costs that usually cause it to be more expensive than a purchased upper.

VytamenC is a great dude with quality product.. Haven't seen anything but pistol uppers from him for a while though.. Either way, deal with full confidence!!

Unless you really want to have something custom or want to do it yourself, it's hard to beat a completed upper. Midway has a DPMS on sale for $349, and there are plenty out there now for under $400.
