Who does awesome trigger work?

I want a gunsmith to do a trigger job on my bolt-action rifle.

Can you recommend someone who does really good trigger work?

What kind of bolt rifle? If it's a common one I PROMISE you can DIY.

If it isn't you'd likely be better off buying a new trigger and adjusting it - you'll end up with a better rig for the same money.

I can , bring it out to J&G Gunsmithing in Granite bay. Do trigger jobs all the time.

2 minutes of searching led me to conclude you could do it for a $2 bottle of loctite (or nail polish) and about 10 minutes of adjustment time.

Nothing is easier than adjusting a bolt gun trigger.

That's great 'n all, but some people (especially those who aren't exerienced w/ firearms mechanics) simply don't want to mess with something that could render the gun dangerous. Some people would rather have someone do it that has done it many times over, hence guaranteed results. BTW, some guys can get a trigger to adjust to a lighter weight than another. By all means, if someone wants to try it for the first time, that's great. But if it is someone I am going to be around @ "testing time" (live fire), 1) I will keep my (safe) distance, and 2) I won't be the "guinea pig" who fires those first shots!!!!

I'm sorry, but you're simply fearmongering. Exactly how would a bolt gun become "dangerous" at the range due to an improperly adjusted trigger? It's not going to fire out of battery. It's not going to fire upon opening the bolt. It could fire without a trigger pull, but a smart shooter knows to never load a gun until ready to destroy something - especially one untested. It certainly can't go "full auto." It can't load a round on its own.

Sure, if I were taking it hunting I'd want to know it's not adjusted too light and it will not fire without me pulling the trigger, but at the range?

Sure, someone who's willing to open, polish and improve the contact surfaces will definitely get a better trigger pull, but I'm encouraging the OP to give it a shot on something that's almost impossible to screw up and really can't become dangerous.

Just remember to adjust things in order.
Take-up/Engagement then overtravel, then pull weight.
Go through it a couple times because pull weight will change with engagement.

However, I'm decent with my hands and follow directions well, so what's my next step? I don't want to ask you to spoonfeed me, but I don't even know enough to do a decent search, apparently. Google gave me nothing useful, because I'm using the wrong search parameters.

I'd start searching for a Mossberg forum. More specifically, a 100ATR(?) forum. Good luck to you, hope all works out!!
