End Mill Bit - Help

I've got a manual Taig mill to work on 80% lowers and was curious to know if someone could link me to a good ball roughing end mill bit so I can clear material faster. A link to a site that would be what you folks would recommend. The largest shank my Taig will hold is a 3/8".

Ball end mill will not help you clear material faster. It will actually slow you down.

As the surface area of the end mill contact contact surface goes up so does your wattage load on your spindle. A ball end mill buried to full ball depth has about 4X the surface area of a flat bottom end mill.

Get a 3 flute 3/8" mill set you RPM at about 1800 and take .250" depth of cut at about 10" a minute

this one will work fine. personally i wouldn't use a ball on it i would go with a 3 flute flat face this will allow you to set up floor depth
