Safety Selector Will not slide through

I am assy my NDS lower with a Stag LPK. I have the bolt cocked back, like the three sets of instructions I have say to, but the Safety Selector (ambi) will not slide all the way through. It goes into the first hole fine, but I cannot get it through the other.

Any suggestions?

Forgot they made retro AR receivers. Never mind.

If it was an AK receiver I'd just say egg out the hole

Put the selector in first and then install the trigger.

Something is out of spec.
Modify the least expensive part, which is probably the tail of the trigger.
Take off the minimum amount to get the safety through.

You might also try just removing the hammer which should let the tail of the trigger go lower in the receiver.
If the tail will slip back up into the selector and still allow proper trigger/hammer/selector movement, you are good to go.
If the selector will not easily engage when all 3 parts are installed in the lower, the trigger's tail will need to be lowered until a proper fit is obtained.

Knauga's idea worked, got it back together now. Something is OOS though. Should just slide in, huh?

Yes, it should just slide in. If it does not do that, then you have a bad selector switch (Out of specs).
