I'm home alone right now so I didn't have anyone to take pictures of what I was doing. The polymer resin when mixed with what is in the syringe only gives me 5 minutes to inject or pour into the mold otherwise it gets hard so didn't have enough time to take a picture of each step I took

More interested in the final product. Also, do they offer refills on just the resin or is this something you could easily pick up at home depot?

I can't get the gunmold site to load at all on any of my computers and have been trying since this thread was started a few times each day. Whats up with that? Anyone else having this problem?

Looks like they sell the resin for $20 "enough for 3 lowers", but I too wonder if you could find the resin at a hardware store or somewhere else online.

              Take 2: DONE

I took the two part mold apart just now and this is what I saw.

Its as beautiful baby AR lower, I feel like a new parent. I want to wait till tomorrow to remove the flashing and remove it completely out of the other side of the mold. I'll take more pictures of the lower tomorrow and start on number 3 I wish I would have screw up number 1 now I'll only end up with 3 lowers. I have to admit I was to surprised to see that everything looks perfect minus the flashing I need to break off the edges and holes. Even threads on the half I can see look and feel great. WOW I can't wait to take this to the range ASAP.

Will you have to hollow out the inside of the trigger opening?

The trigger opening in just covered with very thin flashing it's thinner than paper should just break off or pop out.

amazing. looks very promising but my only concern is that this looks like they based it on the aluminum receivers. im curious how that buffer tube area will hold up.

Heres the trigger flashing I'm talking about. I think its called flashing. Easy to remove and break off.

I know it's a little early to ask, but how durable does the polymer feel?

If this is durable and the threads come out okay, I'm totally in to buy one of these moulds.

I'm Interested but also very hesitant about this mold kit.

                              1. Why doesnt the Armold website have a sample pic a completed molded lower.

                              2. The website does not specify what else is needed to be completed.
