Changing Sights on a S&W Shield?

I'm picking up a Shield in 10 days and have already bought AmeriGlo night sights for it. For those that know, is this a basic "do it yourself" or is it better left to a gunsmith? I have basic tools but no sight pusher of any kind. And anyone know a good gunsmith in the LA area that's reasonable?

If you buy anything because it has "tactical" or "operator" in the name, we probably don't run in the same circles.

Most sights that are installed in dovetails just drift out of the slide and then you drift new ones in.
Use a brass punch and a small hammer.

I charge $25 when I do the job.

Shield's are notoriously difficult to drift the sights out... very very very tight. I gave mine a few good whacks, plus tried to use a 1911 sight pusher that didn't quite fit right and neither budged my sights. I took it to my gunsmith and he said "it was tricky". I say have a pro do it.
