Need Help With SKS Front Sight Threads

I bought a SKS Paratrooper and it came with a yellow plastic front sight post. I went to remove this POS and the darn thing snapped off leaving the threaded section still threaded in. I managed to drill out the plastic as far as I dare and need to know exactly what thread it is as I what to run a tap down it to clean out the threads. I read it was a 6mm x.75 pitch. Can anyone confirm this?

Pull the seal off and screw the lid back on.
Then you can squeeze the mustard and it will come out of the bottle..

Get the new front sight and then measure what it is before you drill out the old one and re-tap it.

Why not replace the "SKS DRUM SLIDE"

That's what I did to my paratrooper sks.
