    AR308 lower Score

So after I locked two in for myself and made payment Now I'll let you guys in on it.

Acemachineusa on gun broker has 80% DPMS pattern lowers in stock for $100 to $120 depending on the auction you find. I scored two for $220 shipped.

He also offered to blast them for free. guy has 100% positive feed back.

Now i'm going to stand back so I don't get trampled

Well yeah, gotta cover yourself before letting the masses in on a smoking deal. How is the fit and finish, looks like it mates up with the upper pretty well? Or did you have to "machine the thing into submission"?

Haven't seen them yet. That pic is off the auction sight. we'll see when they get here. He's supposed to ship them out today. I don't have an upper to compare to but I do have prints to check it with. funny thing is I'll probably get these before I get my black friday special AR15 lowers

I've got two of them. Just some minor issues on the two I received. One, the slot for the mag catch is a little long so there's a gap at the front of it (no biggie); two, the upper has a slight bind. By that I mean that when the front take down pin is installed and the upper is rotated down onto the lower it binds about halfway through the rotation. It goes all the way down but installing the rear pin is difficult. I took a very little off the top with a 1.5" end mill and fits fine. The rear pocket is already milled and the upper is nice and tight. For those with a drill press only, there is no jig but I have a QD/Aimsmall jig that holds it well. I'm not sure how the upper plates of the jig work on it as I have access to a mill with DRO.

Well mine are to be here on Friday along with my AR15 from TM and other goodies ordered over the holiday.

I have prints and can spec them out but nothing beats putting an upper on it to check fit. I'm just glad i got two for the price of one. I've talked to the guy that makes them he just does it as a side deal and only make a handful at a time. I reminded him of the west coast market and hinted toward uppers.

                      Update.

Just got them in yesterday and All I can say is holly crap these are nice. Very well made, high attention to detail, every little surface has a chamfer or a radius to break the edge. from what I measure everything specs out perfect.

I don'd have a mag to check the fit nor do i have a print for the LR 308 just the AR 10 and they use different mags so Im trusting then they will fit. no I need to get may parts together.

And Valley I think i'm going to do these in tungsten too.
