    Saiga crown damage?

I had my Saiga leaning against the wall ( dumb idea) it fell against the drywall and the floor board. It mar'd up the sight base. No biggie.

I did the Q tip test, doesn't seem like any visible hairs get caught near the crown. Should I take to a gunsmith to be safe?

The paint gets blasted off like that during normal use.

Unless your barrel looks flat and dented on one side all a screwed up crown will do it ruin your accuracy and open up your groups, with the occasional flier and maybe keyholes.

I dropped my AR on my carpet and I just decided it would be best to throw it away. There were some marks on the handguard.
