Blaster barrel?

Can anyone tell me what a "Blaster" barrel is. I think it is referring to the condition. I found some Uzi barrels for just under $20 and was thinking about using them to make a 9mm pistol that uses sten gun mags and an AR FCG. Are these shot out or something?

Yea, blasters are pretty much shot-out barrels. They still work, but you shouldn't expect decent accuracy out of them.

Do they have enough rifling left in them so that they would not be consider smooth bore for pistols in CA? Accuracy does not matter at all in the project I am designing.

Well, it's like buying a Mosin from one of the major dealers. You never really know what you'll get. It's just the luck of the draw. But, in general, I'd say yes, it would still have enough. Some guys have gotten some decent barrels even though it's graded as blaster. Maybe send the dealer an email and ask them the condition.
