Hey All,
Can some one recommend a good 1911/2011 trigger tuning guide?
I drilled the sear and hammer holes on my 80% and while the hammer does cock ok, the trigger does not have enough travel to release the trigger.
There is a small gap between the sear and the disconnect or, it seems as if the finger? on the sear (where it engages the hammer) is too long so the resting position of the sear doesn't rotate enough CW... The sear and hammer were bought as a pair and supposed to be 'drop in', but in my searching it seems drop in does not necessarily mean drop in and functional.
I have searched around but have not found a good doc on tuning these parts.
Thanks,
Croc4
