    would this work

    I have a old revolver from my father-in-law. I need to replace the hand, but the screw heads on the sideplate are ALMOST non existant. If I can manage to knock of what is left of the head will the sideplate pop off?

      Yes, if the screw body isn't screwed into the sideplate.

      No tap and die?
