I recently replaced a lost trigger spring for a friend on his Mossberg 46 (actually a Wards Western Field 48A) and now it jams up while chambering. It's almost as if the elevator piece isn't sliding the round up the bolt-face enough. Upon further inspection, it appears as if the elevator has a slight bend to it. (piece pointing upwards in pic) Is this normal? Or is it from decades of use and I just need to flatten it out?

Also, are these 2 springs put together correctly? Or does the elevator spring go directly on top? Right now, I have it beneath the cartridge spring but going up through cutout.

Thanks for any help and suggestions!
