    Saiga Barrel Threading?

Hello Calgunners, So I plan on buying or trading for a Saiga more than likely chambered in 5.45x39 because i really like the cartridge. I have a old AAC 556 flash-hider which I am not currently using mostly because i sold my AR upper to my sister(She fell in love with it) So I want to slap it on a saiga. Anybody know A gunsmith that threads AK barrels? more specifically Saiga barrels? IN THE BAY AREA?
Yes i plan on permanently welding it on, anything else?
Yes I tried google but my efforts have been in vain.

It's going to need to be turned down and have the front sight base removed possibly the gas block too, unless they have a big enough lathe. Why weld it in place when there's no need to?

Well I thought a semi auto that accepts set able magazines without a pistol cannot have a flash hider? The saiga I plan on obtaining will be UNCONVERTED(I'm not yelling just clarifying).

Permanently attaching the FH doesn't change the fact that it's a FH. You will still need a magazine lock. Pin and weld is only done to meet minimum barrel length.

What, I though if everything sight base and all was welded to barrel that would be a acceptable ?

            I Misinterpreted the law didn't I ?

I don't know how you got that impression....In your defense this is CA gun law we're talking about and it's usually pretty vague and moronic.

A brake and a flash hider are designed to do 2 different things. One pisses off everyone around you and is legal for a featureless build (brake), the other turns your gun into an evil puppy killing bolt of lightning straight from the depths of hades, and is considered an AW feature.

Someone drove down from Tracy today to have me shorten/thread and perm attach a muzzle device on a converted Saiga.
