    Colt Challenger Questions?????

I need to find out if the grips are the same on the Challenger and Woodsman? Also does anyone know of somewhere to get original grips for this gun? Thanks

      grips

be careful of the screw placement. between models I believe it is in a different position. I bought a set of medalist grips and the screw placement is different. A posting elsewhere stated they would fit.

The grip in that ebay auction look nice but my challenger does not have a mag release near the triggerguard it only has one on the heel of the grip. I'll check the other sites out though.

I found out now by looking at a whole lot of other challengers that the grips had that notch cut out in them and I think it is because at the time the woodsman had that mag release behind the trigger gaurd like the colt .45 1911
