    Borrow/rent AK build tools

I'm in Huntington Beach. Anyone local want to rent or let me borrow the tools required to build a AK. I need,

Rivet squeezer for front and rear trunnions, trigger guard rivet jig, barrel pin press tool and maybe a barrel press/pull tool.

Post here or PM me if you wish. I can paypal funds for shipping and rental if you are not local.

Been thinking about this, doing the 1919 I was lucky enough to be able to borrow the bucking equipment (that almost sounds like filter evasion) to do mine. If I get the cash together, might go ahead and get the tooling and see about setting up a loaner program similar. Though I would probably want a deposit as unlike the guy w/the 1919 equipment, I am not able to make my own tooling so... the loss of said items would hurt. But then, most everyone here seems very stand up too, so, the risk is probably minimal.

    Just my thoughts....

We should try to get another build party set up. This way we can all split the cost of the rentals. I have another kit I need to build so if you do rent them and want to share the cost I am in.

Another build party would be awesome. I know Rich and Steve put a LOT of time and energy into planning/coordinating the last party and they didn't even build anything.
The hardest part is finding a host thats willing to plan the event and getting enough experts to show up. If another one gets goin I'd be willing to bring all my tooling again.

Steve and I will probably do another SOCAL Build Party in the Fall/Winter when it cools down. It may be a different mix of project guns AKM/1919/Sten build party??

I don't think we could get enough people that were just building AKMs to make all the work planning one worth it.

If you announce it early enough I'm sure people will get their ducks in a row to build an AKM or whatever else you have plans for. PM me if you know for sure what you're doing so I get a jump on the good kits!

I was just looking to see if we had another build party going on in San Diego yet. Still have a couple of kits to work on. I need a press and a spot welder. Seems to me that most people have presses... We'll see how the finances work out this month might have to buy tools instead of guns.
