I have their invoice that I'll have to dig up, but they're literally down the street a few buildings down. I believe the person to talk to there is Lupe and it was $50 to anodize the completed 80% piece (which is technically a 100% piece and a firearm). They have a FFL so I was able to leave it with them and pick it up later.

Is there a comprehensive list (with prices) for all of the places in OC? Preferably with places that bead blast and engrave as well.

Maybe we can get a group but going, too.

I have not seen one, but it would be nice to get one going.

If I may ask, what kind of prices are you guys getting from these anodizers? I have a batch of seven or eight to do and need to keep costs down...

Yup... it was Dunham. They anodized a few of my finished lowers after I milled them at AS&T. They did a great job on them.

Anyone able to give a ballpark figure to anodizing an ar lower?

Have powdercoating equipment but prefer anodizing. Then again pc offers alot of color choices!

Dunham does NOT have an FFL, meaning it's illegal for them to anodize a firearm (aka complete lower). Management there does not seem to care, but that doesn't make it legal. Techplate has an FFL as well as US Anodizing in Virginia if you want to mail it to them.

Thanks for the answers re: Dunham! I've called them but nobody answers or returns my calls. Word is you have to stop by in person to get someone...

Would it be legal to get it anodized in person at Dunham and wait there so that your physically there with your 100% lower? Assuming Dunham would even do that for you.
