    blind pin and weld

    I have a AR pistol and want to bring the 10.5'' barrel up to 16'' while I wait for the tax stamp to make a SBR. will blind pin and welding damage the threads when removed

    It will be a hole in the threads but when chased with a muzzle device of the proper thread pitch it will not hinder screwing it on once you have your stamp
