I picked up my Ed Brown Bob tail main spring housing today. After a few tips from Dave Lake I started chopping. Went slow with a cut off wheel . I kept it low heat.then I went to a file. Last was the belt sander. I have not desided if I'm going to polish the area or have it bead blasted to match the rest of the frame.

Half way you can see the bottom of the frame sticks out but half way up the grip the main spring housing sticks out. I was going to leave it but glad I smoothed the whole thing.
