    ak74 ejector oops

so, I may have been a little over zealous in my filing. one of those oops moments where the whole picture emerges after you've been hard at work "fixing" the "problem."
suffice it to say, testing shows that by hand only, 1 out of every 4-5 rounds gets ejected.
background: ak74 triangle folder build. I have not yet riveted the rear trunion/stock (waiting for a custom piece to permanently fix it open). I took this into consideration as I figured it would probably help 'squeeze' the receiver tighter, so I used a c-clamp at the tightness which allowed free movement of the BCG without binding by simple gravity (tilt test?)

options? I see scratch this receiver and start over. is it possible that somebody could weld a clean-ish glob of metal back onto the tip that could be then filed down to the right size? grind out the center support and drill out the ejector rail to put a new one on? I don't have access to a welder to fill the holes so unless somebody is reeeeealllly nice, thats out of my league too.
I'd really hate to start all over, but it is what it is I suppose.

    Thanks.
