    Sling swivel point clink

    Hello,
I'm looking for a few ideas on how to stop the metal clink sound on my swivel point attachment. I've tried electrical tape but will unravel and causes binding due to the thickness of the tape. I saw Home Depot sells spray on vinal but I'm not sure that it will work and I don't want to try to clean that off if it doesn't.

This is what I got http://www.bowerstactical.com/store/images/MAG500.jpg

    Thanks!

How does that stuff hold up? If I put it on a sling attachment will it peel off under pressure and scraping?

Teflon tape might hold up a bit better than electrical tape, but will still need replacing pretty often. Wrapping with some thin nylon thread might be an option worth looking into as well.

switch to an ikickhippies SLAP plate. same general idea, but minus the clinky piece.

I have the same sling attachment, and hinestly when its under pressure as in while you have your rifle slung, it doesn't clink around.

I can't hear the sling swivel clink when I am firing the rifle as the rifle is much louder.
