    Parking solution storage

I am currently using a 5 gal bucket to store it in. I noticed the bucket is degrading. What can I store it in long term?

I don't have the shelf space to keep it in the tank all the time.

Most of the 5 gallon buckets available at the home store are already made from HDPE. I think a PET container is more appropriate. Better yet get a stainless steel bucket.

PET would be ideal but finding one is not easy.
I still say LD or HDpe just keep it out of the sun

I put it in a 5 gal bucket from OSH. It has been in it for 6 months(?). I noticed today the bucket has a weird look on it on the outside. It has been kept in the garage the whole time.

I put some black manganese park solution in an orange Home Depot bucket in 2003. It's been fine ever since- I'm still using it occasionally.

I just plastic wrap and tape over my stainless tank.

Any reason you not just covering your park tank????

HDPE, PP, TPX, Teflon coated, Stainless, Hard Enamel glaze (like what you see on cooking pots not the paint) and Glass.

If you looking for something that is easy to pour into, pour out of and closes tightly to prevent spilling then your BEST bet would be a HDPE 5 Gallon Gas Can (in fact many of them have extended spouts that reverse into a funnel).

Just make sure you store it in a cool place with no direct sunlight.

FYI Home Depot Homer (orange) buckets are HDPE and made in Santee, CA.
