AK Front sight base 1 side egged?

    Hello,

I egged 1 side of the front sight base, in the 6 o'clock position only, when drilling the barrel. the other side is fine, and I've pressed in a 4mm pin. There's good contact on the left side, and on the right side, except for the '6' position. Should I leave it alone and not worry about it, or is this a problem, and if so, how much over-sized can I go, if I need to ream?

The egging is about 1/16 inch so there's just a little non-contact with the pin, on the right side.

    Thx

The fsb doesn't take any force from the round going off.
It is a press fit on the barrel.
If you cannot turn it by hand when pinned (which you shouldn't be able to do) then leave it alone.
    Won't affect function.
Note: Krinks only have one pin holding the GB/fsb on. If you have one good pin to keep it zeroed then its not an issue.
