80% tutorial in Vista (north san diego)

That's right...come to my shop in Vista and receive instructions for your 80%. It's easy, and you'll pick-up a new skill !!
If your even slightly mechanically inclined, and can read digital numbers, you can learn how to finish your lower yourself in a few hours.
You will be doing 100% of the work, and you'll be under my direct supervision during the learning process.
You can listen to some music, have a cold drink next to you and learn at your own pace.
Contact me so you can stop by and have a cold drink, and set-up a time that works with you and your schedule. I'm available from 9am to 6pm Monday-Sat....usually.

You should have posted this in the services offered page and no afiliation with Ares but what they charge is not a rip off. What I charge is a rip off but It' my shop and I really don't want to do AR lowers so I price it so hi no one will take me up on it. But sweet that you are offering it.

FYI I'm going to write a letter to the BATFE when I get back from the state wide build party and request clarification on this and AK building. I just want something in writing so we can put this issue to bed.

You do know BATF&E shut down Ares and they were using drill presses and jigs.

They are not shutting places down because of the machines they use ..... they don't care about the type of machine they care the location where the work is being done. The owner of the "80%" can use any type of machine as long as it is located on property they have control over or own and they don't compensate anyone that helps them.

We all have been saying not to advertise on public forums and lie low because the BATF&E and CA DOJ are scanning the different sites to get info on shops. Hopefully the attorneys on CalGuns will try to get clarification from the BATF&E in writing to get this all cleared up.

The ATF has ruled that for a home built weapon to be legal it needs to be built at the end users "home" anything less and they consider it manufacturing without a class 7 license. The penalty is they will confiscate your lower/ lowers all AR type items and your machinery, there are lawyers working on this now so please be patient as this is just a pause in the flow of things.

Either he knows or he doesnt....... He sure sounds like he pretends to know. Not a single ak team member would stand behind his comment. I even offered 50 dollars. Not exactley confidence inspiring. I think he wants it becuase out of ignorance of the law he is running a business manufacturing aks for people while they "watch" him do so without liscence
