Can you elaborate on what you mean by trouble dropping the magazine? Do you mean it won't drop free?

Check to see if the trigger bow is excessively dragging on the magazine.

I would start by checking the trigger bow. Also, is this happening to only one magazine? Have you tried to replicate this issue using other magazines?

If the magazine is more difficult to insert and remove than usual, you could have some debris in the mag release lock. Push in the magazine release as you insert the magazine and see if that makes it any easier. If not, then something else could be obstructing the mag way. Like somebody already mentioned, the trigger bow is something to look at. Then again it could be the magazine itself. Do you have another magazine?

I'd start with a good cleaning and see if that helps.

                Try a different magazine first!

Check the mags to see if there are scratches on the sides. That would likely be indicative of long grip screws. That being said, if the grips screws were long, then they'd have been a problem from the start.

It's most likely that the inside of the magazine well is dirty, just put a rag on a pen or something, and swipe the inside of the mag well to see how dirty it is.
