AK74 magazines

I have some Bulgarian AK74 mags (circle 10) that could use some restoration.
Dull and scratches.
Any tips?

not really. why not just buy NOS/surplus mags?

Are they the flat black ones? Or bakelite ones?

Why do anything to them at all? If your going to use them in the future they will only get scratched up again...

If they function well don't do anything. They are magazines so who cares if they have a few scratches???

if it's bakelite, u can use 220 or 400 grit sandpaper to take off the old finish lightly then steel wool then oil bath in mineral oil or olive oil, leave til oil soaks all ...then repeat steps...
