Compressed air for household use

Sure love using compressed air while working on guns. I am looking for a real small tank that I can fill with my compressor in the garage and bring into the house. I tried one of those small tanks from Kragen but 1: It's too big and bulky and 2: It leaks even though I re-did all the fittings on it and 3: nice pressure but pretty loud for the house. The ideal size would be like one of those cans of compressed air used for cleaning computer keyboards and stuff, but re-usable. Any ideas??

Thanks Blacky but my compressor sits in the garage, it's great, I use it for impact wrenches, tires, etc, I have thought of running a hose into the house, it's just that I live in an apt, plus my wife doesn't seem to appreciate the sound of loud air blow-guns in the house..........need something small and re-fillable.........

i bought one of these for dusting but at 90psi max it only lasts about a couple minutes

but it makes for a great squirt gun

it would be cool if i had a bajillion dollars i would have an air outlet and a vacuum port in every room next to each power outlet (which would also have a 12v cig type jack)

that way i could hop out of the shower and just blow the water off

Use one of these and you can use the air tool attachments you already have and just regulate the pressure down to whatever volume (either loudness or CFM) you need for in-home use. You just fill it from the compressor in your garage.

airbrush compressor? there is nothing the size of a spray can that can hold enough volume. check the safety valve on your existing tank for the leak. soapy water in a spray bottle.

Airbrush compressors suck hind teet. I have one, it is very noisy and doesn't put out enough pressure or CFM to be of much use for anything.
I ended up getting a 20# CO2 tank and regulator for airbrushing, it also serves as my indoor airsource for cleaning guns and such. Works great, but gas is a reoccurring cost.

co2 is popular with offroaders too. make sure you open a window when using indoors. there is really nothing small that can be refilled by shop compressor, violates the laws of physics. scuba tank, paintball tank small welding tank, all hi press. . air tank=low press/hi volume.

I use one of those can-ed air computer cleaner type cans with the red tube nozzle for my gun work, I just think this is the cat's meow for air at the gun bench. I used to work in a machine shop and they taught us to use a paint brush and to gently brush the chips away from the work piece/machinery. The foreman hated rebuilding machines where he saw metal chips blown into the gears from 120-psig compressed shop air.
