    SndBlst+Cerakote no parkerizing OK?

    Hello,

I have a few small parts I want to blast before painting (gas block Tube on ak). Is it ok to blast without parkerizing? If so, what sand media do you recommend?

Thx! In the future if I decide to parkerize a bent flat w. rails welded, should I still sand blast it even if it's bare steel?

Yes, the finish needs a rough surface to stick properly. Just because it's bare metal doesn't mean anything will stick to it.
