I am new to the group and am looking for build plans for a AR-15. I want to build my own but not sure as to what I need exactly.

Google and YouTube are great resources. Figure out what you want to build and go from there. Here's a start:

Lower
Lpk
Stock+buffer assembly
Completed upper or components below
Upper reciever, FA, port cover
Bcg
CH
Barrel
Barrel nut
Handguard assembly
Gas block
Gas tube
FH or not?
