    That flexibility is an intended quality, it's a good thing. Some of the import companies put new US made pistons onto the carriers and weld them in place making them rock solid. Doing such things hurts the reliability of the weapon.

      Its good. They are not suppose to be tight.
      Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
      I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

            I have a WASR 10/63 and a Norinco NHM91, the WASR's piston is on rock solid and the Norinco had a wobbly piston, I also wondered why when I 1st got the Norinco but a PM to nicoroshi about the loose piston gave me a peace of mind, he explained to me that it is suppose to be wobbly and it was built that way.

              It is perfectly normal. If you want to see real wiggle check out Yugos - you'd think the piston was attached by a wobbler socket.
