...you have a burn on your face that has visible checkering.

I was cutting the bolt knob down on a 700 bolt this evening so that I could thread the handle to install a badger knob.
I'm slicing away pieces of the old knob with a 4.5" angle grinder equipped with a cutoff wheel.
I go to wipe the sweat from my brown and singe my left temple with the hot bolt knob.
I don't think much of it until I come in the house to take a look.
I can actually see the remington bolt knob checkering in the burn...

Do you know how hard it is to take macro pictures of your face without someone else taking the picture?
I had to hold the camera steady and look into the mirror to see the composition in the camera's display.
