    Mauser threads are 1.100"x12
    700 threads are 1.062x16

    As you can see, the 700 threads are smaller than the Mauser.
    You could turn a Mauser barrel down and thread it to fit a 700, but you can't make a 700 barrel bigger.
    If there was enough diameter in the barrel, you can cut 7/8" off the shank and put new threads on it, then rechamber 7/8" deeper.

    I can do all of this type of metal work for you.
