    1911 gunsmith

I need a 1911 expert gunsmith that is around where I live or between work and home. I live in Modesto and work in the south bay area. So who is a good 1911 gunsmith in the central valley or bay area or between.
    Thanks

Thanks I think kendog 4570 is in Santa Cruz. That's quite a drive. Anyone closer to the south bay, east bay, Livermore, Tracy, Modesto, Stockton, or Turlock.
      Thanks again

Depends on what you want done, how well you want it done, and how long you're willing to wait.

Sounds like it might be an issue with the disconnector.

This! The best in the 1911 business.

But, as nokarma noted, good luck getting him to take the job. That dude has enough work to last him the rest of his life.
