I have a few of these frames and are planning to do the same, i noticed the trigger area difference when measuring mine but i think its doable. i think the hard part is milling the trigger bow area out in the magwell. there is a possibility of sawing the bottom half off doing some work and rewelding two pieces back together

Woodruff key cutter for the trigger slot. They cut that slot in 1906 on conventional machines. No need to reinvent the wheel

Here is something to try. If the lda uses standard mags, which I believe it does then the mag release should be in the same place as the single action. Setup the frame true on the x axis using the magwell and a protractor, 17.5 degees through the magwell, zero off the mag release hole and reverse the dimensions back to the slide stop hole. Set your zero as this is the tooling point. Spot drill all the holes for the frame and match them to a known good frame and see of the lda frame will match up to the parts you are going to put into it. I am thinking that the grip safety, thumb safety and the mainspring housing are standard, I might be wrong though. If the critical areas are the same then you might be able to make it work.

I did some research into these and I don't think that the double action parts for the different manufacturers interchange, maybe.

Cutting the front end of the trigger bow slot is the easy part, broaching the rest would be a pita. Maybe make one from two, Machine off the right and left side of two castings and then do the internal machining and then braze, solder, weld them back together. It works for kto, might work for you.

            Good luck with that.

Here's an idea for that one, cut the top off and trim it to fit one of the rudius frames and weld it on one of those.
