Oh man I was just about to make this same thread in the Bay Area. I bought the Ameriglo front sight tool economy model and man that was a waste of money.

Front sight tool? You mean a snap punch to flare out the factory front sight or a thin wall 3/16" socket to install a night sight?

The latest factory glock guns are all using a 3/16" screw now just like the aftermarket sights have for years.
They stopped using the snap-in front sights.

              I highly recommend this:

I keep one in my range bag at all times, and it's got pretty much everything you need. Front sight tool, punch, flathead screwdriver (for the back plate), and a brush for large debris.

I just use the Craftsman 3/16" socket driver out of my Craftsman set. It's got the right amount of clearance around the walls of the driver for the slide. Just make sure not to exert too much force when tightening the screw.
