How removed post ban muzzle break

My brother has a bushmaster upper with a ak74 muzzle break on it. He says its soldered on but everything I see on YouTube is blind pinned. Blind pin is easy to remove. If it is soldered how do you remove it?

I'd suggest heating it with a torch and then turning it when you see the solder melt.

A hacksaw would also work but you'll lose a half inch or so.

True wealth is time. Time to enjoy life.

Life's journey is not to arrive safely in a well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy schit...what a ride"!!

Bushmaster perm attached ak brakes have two pins with welds.
One pin at 3:00 and the other at 9:00.
Both need to be ground out until the pin is all gone before the muzzle device is removed.

OP, I asked Randall last week how do you tell if it's pinned. He said you can see the different metal the pin is made from compared to the brake. Other guy just muscled the brake off and ruined the muzzle threading.
