308 Barrels

Does anybody out there have any experience with RANIER ARMS SELECT 308 barrels? I'm building a AR 308 with DPMS upper and need barrel and gas block and muzzel break. Any info will help Thanks

I have run a few of the select barrels in 5.56 and 308. For the price, these are pretty decent barrels. With match ammo, expect about 1 moa out of these, give or take about .25 moa. The 16" mid length I run on my 308 has functioned without issue now for about 500 rounds. My only complaint with it is that it seems to be really over-gassed for heavier 308 rounds. When I shoot 175-190 grain bullets though it, the recoil is pretty intense. I would highly suggest getting an adjustable gas block if you go with the mid length 16" barrel.
