    AR buffer tube

Is their a length difference between an AR rifle vs Carbine buffer tube?
They are in short supply as with other AR items
What would be the disadvantage of using a rifle buffer tube with an adustable stock, i.e. the Mako adjustable stock.
    Any suppliers with inventory?

Mako makes an adjustable stock for rifle buffer tubes?

I think you're missing that a rifle buffer tube is not made for an adjustable stock(well, there is the vltor a5, but that's not really "rifle" either).

      Yes.
Length difference and external profile difference.
Rifle and entry stock buffer tubes are round.
Carbine buffer tubes are round with a square on the bottom of the tube to align a collapsible stock.
