Looking for some recommendations from my fellow calgunners. My buddies 44 dan wesson revolver needs a barrel change. Any good gunsmiths in the san Gabriel Valley you'd recommend. Thanks

Bains and Davis in San Gabriel. I personally haven't had anything done by them but I am sure a lot of people on this board have. They have a pretty good rep and have a couple of smiths working at the shop. -
Dave's metal works in Covina.
Dan Wesson barrel swaps are usually not a gunsmith job though.
All you need is the wrench and a 0.006" feeler gauge.
