gas block is not centered over gas port?
gas port too small.
gas regulator set @12 o'clock pos?
Carbine length receiver extension/spring?
Op rod rubbing on barrel nut?

Is it a complete conversion with their bolt? the carrier key conversion is a no go with the pistol.. you will end up breaking the drive rod and carrier key
Do you have the gas setting on the correct setting? Straight up
I have their system.... I have used both a RRA pistol tube, and GSE, along with a A2 buffer tube... no issues.
The only issue I had was with the bolt conversion, the replacement carrier key bent, and I ended up breaking the drive rod. After I got the one piece from Adams Arms no more issues.
If you have any issue contact AA they will take care of you.. The replaced my broken drive rod and sent me a one piece bolt...
