    Walther PPK/S DA trigger pull

I have a Walther PPK/S in .380ACP made by Interarms in Virginia. Very nice weapon. Is there someone who can tell me how to ease the DA trigger pull? Looks to me like some honing and polishing in the right places would ease it considerably. 12-13 pounds is just too much. No way to carry weapon cocked and locked. SA pull is fantastic, crisp and light. Very mice piece of ordinance.

Lacking this information, does anyone know of a competent gunsmith who can ease the pull and what is the usual charge for this?

Go here,,www.waltherforums.com one of the frequent posters there is an ex Interarms employee who is now a gunsmith, he can take care of it. If the gun hasnt been shot much it may not be broken in yet and the trigger will get better with use.

Doesn't Smith & Wesson handle Walther now? Maybe try a call to see.
I never found a smith that knew these pistols very well either. Sux...

Under no circumstances should the S&W muppets in Houlton Me. be allowed anywhere near your Walther, go to the Walther forums and find the Walther gunsmith there, its not hard to do,,,,
