Savage 16 recoil pad

Hello All
I just became a new 300wsm savage model 16 syn stock owner and I would like to install a new recoil pad but all I can find are listed as fitting savage 110 rifles.
My question to anyone that may know is what are the dimensional differences in stocks between models on savage rifles.

Limbsaver and Pachmayr both make grind to fit pads, that is probably the best option. I know there are templates you can print out on the limbsaver site to find the closest one and then hit it with a belt sander.

Thanks for the input, I don't have many tools around home to work with so I may just remove the old pad and make a trip to cabelas and match one up based on size and not model
