I need to know if parts used for 922r comp. are supposed to have a stamp or mark to show that they were made in the USA? I bought a gas piston and it not marked anywhere, like their website made me believe it was.

When I made up a fal many years ago, the hammer, trigger and sear were marked USA, but now that you mention it, the piston was not marked in any way that I could see.Originally posted by tony270It's easy to be a keyboard warrior, you would melt like wax in front of me, you wouldn't be able to move your lips.Originally posted by repubconservPrint it out and frame it for all I careOriginally posted by el chivoI don't need to think at all..XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXOriginally posted by pjsigYou are talking to someone who already won this lame conversation, not a brick a wall. Ive glanced thru 922r and i didnt see anything that mentions it needeing a mark of any kind that i could but like i said i only glanced thru. i would to be able to prove it by showing if neccessary without the paperwork. Paperwork really wont prove its made in the USA. And I could stamp it myself but I dont lie all that well.Comment

There is no requirement for it to be stamped, the onus is on them to prove its not U.S. made. I have never heard of anyone being charged with 922r violation alone and by the time they 'try' and call you out on this likely your already going one way or the otter.
To each their own.Comment
