    Help me with these ratios

    I stink at this,

ok on this 1-pint parkerizing solution it says 1gallon solution into 4gallons of water

    but this is 1-pint..

so um, 8pints in a gallon... or um, 128oz ... and half of that is 64oz, then again is 32, and then 16...

and I'm lost already in this mess...

am I adding this 1-pint into a gallon of water?

dammit, someone that knows that math stuff toss me the answer

1 gallon of park for 4 gallons of water equals one pint of park for 1/2 gallon of water (1/2 gallon is 2 quarts, is 4 pints, is 64 ounces)

you have a 1 to 4 ratio, so one pint of park solution to 4 pints water...

          Freeware to the Rescue!

Convert for Windows (aka PowerConverter) by Josh Madison is just incredible. You can convert from one unit of measurement to another, not just in units of 1, but literally in any way you want.

Go download it! The day may come when you'll want to know how much parkerizing solution to use with 2.758 gallons of water!
