Some here wanted to see examples of my work. So here you go.
Starts off like this.
Then with a few measurements and some grinding it looks like this.
These were left about .010" oversize to be sanded in with the stock for a perfect no gap no step fit.
Notice the blending of the heal and toe of the pad to blend back in the radius it started with.
