how to function testing an oll ak

I got my oll ak together, i was wondering if any one can tell me how to function test it.

Take off the top cover (easier to see fire controls) - obviously check to make sure the gun is unloaded and pointing in a safe direction
Pull back the charging handle, make sure the trigger grabs the hammer and the disconnector does not interfere. Pull and hold the trigger. Then pull the charging handle back and make sure the disconnector grabs the hammer. When you release the trigger the disconnector should be off of the hammer and the trigger should be holding it. Then test the safety to make sure you can not pull the trigger enough to make the hammer fall.

That is correct! Also but a few snap caps to check the feeding and ejecting.

one crucial thing i learned was make sure your ejector rail is nice and sharp or you'll get a FTE
